Maths at Robert Blair

At Robert Blair the children follow the Inspire Maths scheme.

The Inspire Maths scheme, developed in Singapore, emphasises the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, which help children make connections to develop deeper understanding. The powerful concrete-pictrorial-abstract (CPA) approach is central to this. Children have access to a wide range of practical resources that support them to make the link between concrete, pictorial and abstract aspects of maths. There are many resources that you can use at home to support your child’s learning.
