Routine of the day, Toddler Team (children aged 2-3 years old)
The team offer a regular routine each day but are also flexible to respond to children’s individual needs.

Routine of the day, Baby Team (children aged 6 mths- 2 years old)
The Schedule below offers a guide to when things happen in the baby room and garden, however timings are flexible and responsive to the children’s needs. Children may sleep whenever they need to and are offered a drink at regular intervals throughout the day.

8.00am ·         Greeting children and sharing information with families
·         Breakfast on offer for children
·         Play activities
9.00-9.30am ·         Greeting children, sharing information with families
·         Play activities,   ‘messy’ room opens
9.30am onwards ·         Snacks available for children (9.30-10aprox)
·         Focus activities begin
·         Play activities indoors and outside
11.05am approx. ·         ‘Tidy up time’ children and adults tidy together
11.15am ·         Language Group time; children join a group for rhymes, songs, games and sharing books
11.25am ·         Time to wash hands and then have lunch (move to the lunch room)
12.00pm ·         Sleep time for children who need a nap
·         Play activities on offer for children who are awake
1.45pm approx. ·         Play activities indoors and outside
·         Focus activities resume
3.05pm ·         Language Group time; children join a group for rhymes, songs, games and sharing books
3.15-3.30pm ·         Some Families arrive to collect children, saying goodbye and sharing information
·         Play activities for remaining children
3.50 pm ·         Tea time (light meal)
4.15 onwards to 6pm ·         Play activities indoors, outdoors when appropriate
·         Saying goodbye, information sharing with families as children leave to go home

·         Focus activities usually start
10am-11.30am ·         Snack and drink time
·         Singing and rhyme time
·         The garden is open (if not already available)
11.30am ·         Lunch time
12.00am (approx.) ·         Sleep time for children who need a nap
1.30am (approx.) ·         Time for milk (bottle or cup)
1.30am onwards ·         Play activities and afternoon focus activities indoors and out
3.50pm approx ·         Tea time
4.30pm onwards
6.00pm Baby room closes
·         Play activities indoors and out if appropriate
·         Saying goodbye to children, sharing information with families
