An important part of our vision at Robert Blair Primary School and Children’s Centre Services is that we are an inclusive learning community.
We strongly believe learning is not just a priority for children. Whether you are a member of our staff team, a parent/carer or live locally we can all learn new things and become more successful learners.
We offer a range of activities for parents, carers and the local community including (see our school calendar):
- stay and play sessions for parents and carers
- a weekly sewing class where you can learn new skills or share existing ones
- a program of one off workshops and short and long courses run in conjunction with partner organisations including: Islington Adult and Community learning, The Red Cross, Breyer Group PLC, The women’s Therapy Centre, i-Cope Islington PCT, Bengali Women’s Association, Minik Karges.
If you would like to find out more about the learning opportunities on offer please speak to Parbin our Bengali Support Worker (available on Tuesday), Shalaha our Home School Support Worker (available Monday) or Elizabeth the Under Fives Manager.
