On Monday 23rd March, Mr Gill (Year 6) conducted a parents workshop looking at how Topic is taught at Robert Blair. During this fantastic morning, Mr Gill started by modelling a lesson, then discussed how we plan Topic in school and finally looked at the Curriculum Drivers (aspiration, creativity, collaboration, resilience) and how they are used in our teaching of Topic.
Below are the models created by the parents, where they had to build there own bridges to support as much weight as possible.
