Welcome to South America Class – Year 2. The adults in our class are Ms. Brooks and Ms. Chan.
This half term, our topic is The United Kingdom. We are learning all about the main cities and features of the regions which make up our country.
See what we have been up to:
Year 2 took part in an engaging activity with Ipads as part of their online safety learning with the Discovery team from Three! They started work on information posters about birds using the app Picasso. The children learned how to write words using the text feature, choose pictures that related to the topic (Favourite Birds) and how to publish their work using the save feature of the app. They had so much fun working together to design their posters and reviewing each other’s work.
Star of the Week!
Olivia Wadey is our star of the week for her excellent efforts in improving her reading!
