Welcome back to school—we have all returned refreshed and ready to build on the excellent learning from before the holidays. In 2026, the National Year of Reading, we are reigniting our love of reading while also developing confident learners through a “no hands up” approach that values thinking time, discussion, and learning from mistakes. We have also introduced a daily “soft start” from 8:45–9:00 to support children’s learning from the moment they arrive, and we encourage all children to arrive promptly to make the most of this, with Blundell Street open from 8:45am.
