Robert Blair is a proud member of The Maamulaha Network. Working together across neighbouring schools provides unique opportunities for collaboration and learning for all children, staff and leaders.
Originating in Islington in 2007, Maamulaha is a local education network comprising Headteachers from Early Years settings, Primary and Special Schools from across north London. The schools meet every half term to discuss and progress collaborative projects across all members, and organise a two-day annual conference in the autumn term.
The network was set to raise pupil progress and to improve the life chances and choices for children by supporting Headteachers.
They do this through:
- Offering leadership support and development
- Creating Constant Professional Development for staff and Governors
- Determining shared priorities
- Providing peer support
- Devising opportunities for children and staff to collaborate
Its current members are: The Bridge London Trust, Christ the King Primary School, Hargrave Park School, Hungerford Primary School, Margaret McMillan Nursery School, Pooles Park Primary, Robert Blair School, Sacred Heart RC Primary School, St John Evangelist RC Primary School, St John’s Upper Holloway Primary, Virtual School for Children with a Social Worker and Vittoria Primary School.
Current Projects include work across our School Councils, valuable CPD for staff around Maths mastery, a peer-to-peer network for SENCos and Early Years Leads and projects on art and poetry for pupils and a network wide sports league.
